DURHAM ST.

A contemporary full home renovation, that included aspects of nature to create a unity of indoors and outdoors.

The project was a full home renovation aimed at transforming a space that didn't meet the family's needs into a functional and inviting environment. We focused on creating an open-concept living and dining area by removing walls, allowing for better flow and connectivity within the home.

Drawing inspiration from the clients' active lifestyle and love for nature, we incorporated elements that bring the outdoors inside. This included using natural materials like wood, stone, and greenery to add warmth and a sense of tranquility to the space.

The color palette was kept soft and subtle to promote a calming atmosphere, with accents of earthy tones to complement the natural theme. Textures played a crucial role in adding depth and visual interest, with a mix of smooth surfaces and tactile finishes throughout the design.

Overall, the goal was to create a space that not only functions well for the family but also reflects their personality and interests, making it a place they truly enjoy spending time in.
